  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Rinse and pat dry the turkey wings with paper towels.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the turkey wings.
  • Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Arrange the seasoned turkey wings on top of the onion and garlic.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the turkey wings.
  • Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the turkey wings from the slow cooker using tongs.
  • Let the turkey wings rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the turkey wings are thoroughly coated with the seasoning mixture to enhance flavor. You can use the leftover juices in the slow cooker as a delicious gravy by straining and thickening it with a bit of cornstarch dissolved in water.
