Equipment

  • 1 Skillet
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Pan

Ingredients

  • 400 grams prawns peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon dill finely chopped
  • 8 slices bread your choice
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 cucumber sliced

Instructions

  • Heat the skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add the prawns to the skillet and cook until pink, about 4 minutes.
  • Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper, and remove the prawns from heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise and dill to make a dressing.
  • Spread the dill mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  • Layer lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and prawns on four slices of bread.
  • Top with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side down.
  • Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, consider toasting the bread slices lightly before assembling the sandwich. Ensure the prawns are not overcooked, as they can become tough. You can also add a dash of paprika to the mayonnaise for a bit of extra spice.
