Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 handful fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tomato sliced

Instructions
 

  • Place the ricotta cheese in a mixing bowl and add olive oil, honey, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stir the mixture until all the ingredients are well combined.
  • Lay out the slices of bread on the cutting board.
  • Spread the ricotta mixture evenly on two slices of bread.
  • Place tomato slices and fresh basil leaves on top of the ricotta-covered bread.
  • Top with the remaining slices of bread to form sandwiches.
  • Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For the best results, use fresh and high-quality ricotta cheese as it significantly enhances the flavor of the sandwich. Feel free to toast the bread if you prefer a crispier texture. Additionally, you can customize the sandwich by adding other ingredients like prosciutto or arugula for extra flavor.
