  • 1 Skillet or Grill Pan
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 plate

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices Bread
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 medium Tomatoes sliced
  • 1 ball Fresh mozzarella sliced
  • 4 leaves Fresh basil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
  • Brush one side of each bread slice with olive oil.
  • Layer tomato slices, mozzarella slices, and fresh basil leaves on the un-oiled side of two bread slices.
  • Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Place the remaining bread slices on top, oiled side out.
  • Grill the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Use a spatula to carefully remove the sandwiches from the pan and transfer them to a plate.
  • Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.

Notes

For the best results, use a high-quality, crusty bread like ciabatta or sourdough to enhance the flavor and texture of the sandwich. Fresh, ripe tomatoes and mozzarella will make a significant difference in taste, and adding a drizzle of balsamic glaze can elevate the sandwich even more. If you prefer, you can also add a pinch of dried oregano or red pepper flakes for an extra burst of flavor.
