  • 1 measuring spoon set
  • 1 Paring knife

  • 2 cups Granny Smith apples peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Peel and dice the apples, then toss them with lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  • Add granulated sugar and cinnamon to the apples and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt to create the crumble topping.
  • Grease the muffin tin and spoon the apple mixture evenly into each cup.
  • Top each apple-filled cup with the crumble mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let the apple crisp bites rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use tart apples like Granny Smith to balance the sweetness of the sugar. Ensure the apples are evenly diced for consistent cooking, and do not overfill the muffin cups to prevent spillage. If desired, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for added indulgence.
