Equipment

  • 1 Oven
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Meat thermometer
  • 1 pair of tongs
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pork chops boneless
  • 8 slices Bacon
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  • Season each pork chop with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Wrap each pork chop with two slices of bacon, ensuring they are fully covered.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear each side of the bacon-wrapped pork chops for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  • Transfer the seared pork chops to a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, choose pork chops that are at least 1 inch thick to ensure they stay juicy and tender during cooking. Make sure to let the meat rest after baking to allow the juices to redistribute, which enhances the flavor and tenderness. If you prefer your bacon crispier, you can place the pork chops under the broiler for an additional 1-2 minutes after baking.
