Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole bagel sliced in half
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 slice tomato optional
  • 1 leaf lettuce optional

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bagel halves in a toaster until golden brown.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook, gently stirring with a spatula until scrambled and fully cooked.
  • Place the cheese slice over the scrambled eggs and allow it to melt slightly.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and let the eggs rest for 2 minutes.
  • Layer the cooked eggs and cheese onto one half of the toasted bagel.
  • Add the bacon slices on top of the eggs.
  • If desired, add a slice of tomato and lettuce leaf for extra flavor.
  • Top with the other half of the bagel to complete the sandwich.

Notes

For a fluffier texture, whisk the eggs thoroughly with milk before cooking. Adjust the amount of butter based on your preference for richness. You can also experiment with different types of cheese or add avocado slices for a creamy twist.
