Ingredients
  

  • 4 Medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt.
  • Pat the sweet potatoes dry with a paper towel.
  • Prick each sweet potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
  • Rub each sweet potato with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  • Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until tender.
  • Remove from the oven using an oven mitt and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, select sweet potatoes that are uniform in size to ensure even cooking. If you prefer a softer skin, wrap the sweet potatoes in aluminum foil before baking. Adjust the baking time based on the size of the sweet potatoes, as larger ones may require additional time to become tender.
