Ingredients
  

  • 3 large ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  • Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  • Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  • Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the bowl and whisk until well combined.
  • Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until the batter is smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the pan and place on a cooling rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For extra tips, ensure the bananas are overripe for maximum sweetness and flavor. If desired, you can add nuts or chocolate chips to the batter for added texture. Always check for doneness with a toothpick to avoid undercooked bread.
