Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground bison
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk; let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add the ground bison, beaten egg, onion, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan.
  • Place the loaf pan on a baking sheet to catch any drippings.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove from the oven and let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For the best results, use fresh ingredients and do not overmix the meatloaf mixture to keep it tender. Also, consider using a meat thermometer to ensure the bison is cooked to the proper temperature for safe consumption. Feel free to add your favorite herbs or spices to personalize the flavor.
