Ingredients
  

  • 4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine blueberries and lemon juice.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add melted butter, egg, and milk to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Pour the blueberry mixture into the 9x9 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the batter evenly over the blueberries.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh blueberries, as they provide the optimal balance of sweetness and tartness. If using frozen blueberries, make sure to thaw and drain them well to prevent excess moisture in the cobbler. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
