Equipment

  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 medium mixing bowl
  • 1 Electric mixer
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Cooling rack
  • 1 measuring cup set
  • 1 measuring spoon set
  • 1 Rubber spatula
  • 1 Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer until creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the blueberries and white chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Allow the cookies to rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Notes

For the best results, ensure the blueberries are dry before adding them to the dough to prevent excess moisture, which can cause the cookies to spread too much. Additionally, chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking can enhance the flavor and texture of the cookies.
