Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter onto the prepared baking tray and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cake is set.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes.
  • In another bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until well combined.
  • Spread the peanut butter mixture over the cooled cake.
  • Roll the cake tightly using the parchment paper to form a log.
  • Chill the roll in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Melt chocolate chips and heavy cream together until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the chilled roll.
  • Slice and serve.

Notes

For best results, ensure the cake is not overbaked to maintain its flexibility for rolling. Allow the roll to chill thoroughly to help the layers set and make slicing easier. Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of powdered sugar to taste.
