Equipment

  • 1 Skillet
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Whisk

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickles

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken breasts in the skillet until browned on each side, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from the oven and brush with buffalo wing sauce.
  • Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes after baking.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the skillet until lightly browned.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing a chicken breast on the bottom half of each bun.
  • Top with shredded lettuce, blue cheese dressing, and sliced pickles.
  • Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours before dredging it in the flour mixture; this will tenderize the meat and enhance its juiciness. When cooking, ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption. Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your preference, and feel free to add extra toppings such as sliced onions or tomatoes for added texture and flavor.
