Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounces Ricotta cheese drained
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon ground
  • 1/2 cup Mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest finely grated

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the ricotta cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Add the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon, then mix until well combined.
  • Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and orange zest with a rubber spatula.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Once chilled, transfer the filling to a piping bag or use a spoon to fill the cannoli shells.

Notes

For best results, ensure the ricotta is well-drained to avoid a runny filling, and chill it thoroughly for easy handling. Adjust the sweetness to taste by adding more or less powdered sugar as desired. Additionally, consider adding a splash of liqueur or swapping chocolate chips for pistachios for a unique twist.
