Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces pasta cooked and cooled
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 8 ounces mozzarella balls drained
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
  • Whisk the dressing until well combined.
  • Add the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and fresh basil to the bowl.
  • Toss everything together until the ingredients are well coated with the dressing.
  • Let the salad rest for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For the best flavor, try using high-quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Feel free to add extra vegetables like arugula or spinach for added nutrition, or include a protein like grilled chicken for a more substantial meal. Freshly ground black pepper and sea salt will enhance the taste of this simple yet delightful salad.
