Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 1 cup carrots diced
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 4 cups potatoes diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Heat the large pot over medium heat and add the ground beef, cooking until browned.
  • Drain any excess fat from the pot.
  • Add the onion, carrots, and celery to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender.
  • Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir to combine.
  • Gradually stir in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add the potatoes and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Stir in the milk, cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Cook the soup over low heat until the cheese has melted and the soup has thickened.
  • Remove from heat and let the soup rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

To enhance the flavor of your Cheeseburger Chowder Soup, consider using sharp cheddar cheese for a more pronounced cheesy taste. You can also add a dash of hot sauce for some extra heat. For a smoother consistency, use a potato masher to lightly mash some of the potatoes in the soup. If you prefer a thicker soup, reduce the amount of milk or increase the flour slightly. Always taste and adjust the seasoning before serving to ensure the flavors are balanced.
