Ingredients
  

  • 2 slice whole wheat bread
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 leaf romaine lettuce
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breast with salt and black pepper.
  • Cook the chicken breast in the skillet for 5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  • Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Slice the avocado and tomato on the cutting board.
  • Mix the avocado slices with lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.
  • Layer the lettuce leaves, sliced chicken, avocado, and tomato on one slice of bread.
  • Top with the other slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  • Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately on plates.

Notes

For a more flavorful experience, consider toasting the bread slices before assembling the sandwich. Additionally, you may add a dash of your favorite hot sauce or some smoked paprika to the mayonnaise for an extra kick. Always ensure the chicken is properly cooked by checking the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
