  • 1 Oven

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Pour the chicken mixture into the 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the Red Lobster biscuit mix with cold water and shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until just combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and brush the melted butter over the top of the biscuits.
  • Sprinkle parsley flakes over the buttered biscuits for garnish.
  • Let the dish rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure the chicken is cooked fully before adding it to the mixture for the best flavor and texture. If you prefer a spicier flavor, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few drops of hot sauce to the chicken mixture. Additionally, if the biscuit dough seems too sticky, lightly flour your hands or utensils to make handling easier.
