Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup plus additional for topping
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk, letting it soak for 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg and add the soaked breadcrumbs, mixing well.
  • Add ground chicken, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika to the egg mixture.
  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it evenly.
  • Spread an additional layer of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For the best results, ensure that the ingredients are well mixed but avoid overworking the meat mixture to keep the meatloaf tender. If you prefer a bit of a crust on your meatloaf, you can increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) for the last 10 minutes of baking.
