Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  • Add olive oil to the skillet and heat for 1 minute.
  • Place chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each chicken breast to melt.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each hamburger bun.
  • Place a cooked chicken breast on top of the mayonnaise.
  • Top each chicken breast with shredded lettuce and a slice of tomato.
  • Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, ensure the skillet is well-heated before adding the chicken to achieve a nice sear. You can also toast the buns in the skillet for added texture and flavor. Adjust the seasoning to your preference, and feel free to add additional toppings like pickles or avocado for variation.
