Equipment

  • 1 Large pot
  • 1 large skillet
  • 1 colander
  • 1 Mixing spoon
  • 1 Chef's knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 Measuring spoon

Ingredients

  • 250 grams noodles
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted

Instructions

  • Boil a large pot of water and cook the noodles according to package instructions.
  • Drain the noodles using a colander and set them aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, chili sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.
  • Add the chopped green onions and sliced red bell pepper, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For an extra kick, you can adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less chili sauce to taste. It's important to keep the noodles slightly undercooked initially, as they will continue to cook when tossed in the skillet with the sauce. You can also add protein like chicken or shrimp for a more substantial meal. Garnish with fresh cilantro or lime wedges if desired for added flavor.
