Equipment

  • 1 medium mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 Measuring spoon
  • 1 Plastic wrap or lid

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Chia seeds
  • 2 cups Almond milk
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine chia seeds, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  • Whisk the ingredients together until well combined and smooth.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken.
  • Before serving, give the pudding a good stir to ensure it is evenly mixed.
  • Serve the pudding in bowls or glasses and garnish as desired.

Notes

For the best results, use a whisk to thoroughly mix the cocoa powder with the liquid to prevent any clumps. Adjust the sweetness by adding more maple syrup if desired, and feel free to experiment with different types of milk such as coconut or oat milk for varying flavors. Toppings such as fresh berries, nuts, or coconut flakes can add texture and enhance the flavor of the pudding.
