Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease the loaf pan lightly with oil or cooking spray.
  • In the mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, water, and sugar until well blended.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir with a spatula until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the bread from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a handful of chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter before baking. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing, and avoid over-mixing the batter to maintain a moist texture.
