Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the milk and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the melted butter into the baking dish.
  • Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  • Let the cobbler crust rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an added layer of flavor, consider incorporating a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg into the batter. Additionally, if you prefer a slightly crispier crust, increase the baking time by a few minutes, but be sure to keep an eye on the crust to prevent burning.
