  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the sausage and cook until scrambled and fully set.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and stir in cheddar cheese and green onions.
  • Place the bottom halves of slider buns on a baking sheet.
  • Evenly distribute the sausage and egg mixture onto the bottom halves of the buns.
  • Cover with the top halves of the buns.
  • Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Allow sliders to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the sausage is fully cooked before combining it with the egg mixture. You can prepare the sausage and egg mixture ahead of time and refrigerate it to save time in the morning. Customize the sliders by adding jalapeños or using pepper jack cheese for an extra kick.
