  • 1 Spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a baking dish, combine cranberries, granulated sugar, and orange juice.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter over the cranberry mixture in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the top with ground cinnamon and brown sugar.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Allow the cobbler to rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra flavorful cobbler, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg or cloves to the batter for a warm, spiced aroma. To ensure the topping is golden and crisp, you may broil the cobbler for an additional 2 minutes at the end of the baking time. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an indulgent treat.
