Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Oven
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Potatoes Russet
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper ground
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Thyme

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into evenly sized fries.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and dried thyme.
  • Add the potato fries to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  • Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

To ensure the fries are extra crispy, make sure to cut the potatoes into uniform sizes so they cook evenly and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet; this allows the fries to crisp up properly. For an additional crispy texture, you can soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before seasoning and baking.
