Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled

Instructions
 

  • Wash and trim the ends of the green beans.
  • Place the green beans in the crockpot.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the green beans.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Drizzle the butter mixture over the green beans.
  • Stir to combine all ingredients evenly.
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours.
  • Add the crumbled bacon 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
  • Once cooked, let the green beans rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, choose fresh, firm green beans and avoid overcooking them to maintain a slight crunch. You can adjust the seasoning to your preference and consider adding a splash of lemon juice or some freshly grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
