Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounce pasta shells
  • 1 cup dill pickles chopped
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and rinse the pasta under cold water to cool.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, pickle juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cooled pasta, chopped dill pickles, cheddar cheese, and red onion to the bowl.
  • Gently toss everything together until well combined.
  • Stir in the fresh dill until evenly distributed.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, use fresh dill as it enhances the flavor of the salad significantly. Adjust the amount of pickle juice to taste if you prefer a tangier salad. To save time, you can prep the ingredients while the pasta is cooking. This salad is versatile and can be customized with additional veggies or proteins to suit your preferences.
