  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Ladle
  • 1 Cutting board

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger sliced
  • 6 ounces dumplings
  • 4 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup bok choy chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots julienned
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  • Add soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to the pot.
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer and let the broth infuse for 10 minutes.
  • Add dumplings and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add egg noodles and cook for another 5 minutes until noodles are tender.
  • Stir in bok choy and carrots, cooking for 3 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and let the soup rest for 5 minutes.
  • Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with green onions and cilantro.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh dumplings and homemade chicken broth if possible. Adjust the seasoning to your taste and consider adding a splash of rice vinegar or a pinch of chili flakes for extra depth and heat. Be careful not to overcook the noodles or dumplings to maintain the ideal texture.
