Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast about 2 1/4 teaspoons
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  • Slowly add warm water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rest for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and place each piece into the muffin tin.
  • Brush the tops of the dough with the remaining olive oil.
  • Sprinkle minced garlic and fresh rosemary evenly over each muffin.
  • Top each muffin with a pinch of coarse sea salt.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let the muffins cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the water is warm but not hot to properly activate the yeast. If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, add an additional clove of garlic. These muffins are versatile and can be served warm or at room temperature, making them perfect for gatherings or as a flavorful snack.
