Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 2 slices cheese
  • 2 slices cooked ham

Instructions
 

  • Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  • Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until soft scrambled.
  • Toast the bread slices in a toaster until golden brown.
  • Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each toasted bread slice.
  • Place one slice of cheese on the mayonnaise side of one toast.
  • Add the scrambled eggs on top of the cheese.
  • Layer the cooked ham and the second cheese slice over the eggs.
  • Top with the remaining slice of toasted bread, mayonnaise side down.
  • Press gently and cut the sandwich in half before serving.

Notes

For a creamier texture, you can add a splash of cream or a spoonful of sour cream to the egg mixture. Ensure not to overcook the eggs; they should remain slightly runny for the best texture. Customize your sandwich by adding sliced avocado or tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrition.
