Ingredients
  

  • 2 whole English muffins split
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon cooked
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the skillet over medium heat.
  • Toast the English muffins in the toaster until golden brown.
  • Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the skillet.
  • Crack the eggs into the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the eggs until whites are set and yolks are cooked to desired doneness.
  • Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each egg and let it melt.
  • Spread the remaining butter on the toasted English muffins.
  • Layer each muffin with two slices of cooked bacon.
  • Top the bacon with the melted cheese and egg.
  • Close the sandwich with the other half of the muffin and let it rest for 2 minutes.

Notes

To enhance the flavor, consider adding a slice of tomato or some fresh spinach leaves for a refreshing twist. Additionally, using a non-stick skillet may help in cooking the eggs evenly without sticking, and adjusting the heat to low while melting cheese can prevent it from burning.
