Equipment

  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 Skillet or Grill Pan
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, feta cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
  • Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  • Remove patties from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  • Toast the hamburger buns in the same skillet or on a separate pan.
  • Assemble the burger by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun.
  • Top each patty with a slice of tomato and a lettuce leaf.
  • Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

For the best results, ensure your feta cheese is of good quality and crumbly rather than creamy. If you prefer a juicier burger, avoid pressing down on the patties while cooking. Experiment with additional toppings such as sliced onions or a dollop of tzatziki sauce for extra flavor.
