Equipment

  • 1 Blender or Food Processor
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 Measuring spoon
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 airtight container

Ingredients
  

  • 100 gram feta cheese crumbled
  • 60 milliliter olive oil
  • 60 milliliter plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon water optional for thinning

Instructions
 

  • Add feta cheese, olive oil, and yogurt to a blender or food processor.
  • Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy.
  • Add lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper to the blender.
  • Blend again until all ingredients are well combined.
  • If the dressing is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time and blend until desired consistency is reached.
  • Transfer the feta dressing to a mixing bowl and taste for seasoning, adjusting as necessary.
  • Pour the dressing into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality feta cheese for a rich and tangy flavor. Adjust the consistency of the dressing by adding water gradually, keeping in mind that it will thicken slightly once refrigerated. This dressing pairs well with salads, grilled vegetables, or as a dip for fresh bread.
