Ingredients
  

  • 400 grams fish balls
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 100 grams bok choy chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add fish balls to the boiling broth and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Add the chopped bok choy and cook for another 3 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove the pot from heat and let the soup rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra tips, ensure the fish balls are fresh or properly thawed if frozen to enhance the soup's flavor. Control the saltiness by adjusting the soy sauce and fish sauce according to your taste preference. Serve immediately for the best taste, and feel free to add other vegetables or noodles for a more filling meal.
