Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken breast boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup French's crispy fried onions crushed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Coat each chicken breast with the mayonnaise mixture.
  • Place coated chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the chicken.
  • Top with crushed French's crispy fried onions.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove from oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

To ensure the chicken is cooked properly, use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C). You can also experiment by adding different seasonings or herbs to the mayonnaise mixture for additional flavor. For a healthier version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
