  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 Measuring spoon
  • 1 Oven mitt

Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Potatoes russet or Yukon gold
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Add the potato wedges to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  • Arrange the coated potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the roasted potato wedges before serving.

Notes

For best results, choose potatoes that are firm and free of blemishes, as they will roast more evenly. If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, you can add freshly minced garlic in addition to the garlic powder. To ensure the wedges are crispy, make sure they are spread out in a single layer on the baking sheet without overlapping.
