Ingredients
  

  • 4 ounce goat cheese softened
  • 4 tablespoon fig jam
  • 8 slice baguette toasted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped and toasted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread the baguette slices on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle the baguette slices with olive oil.
  • Bake the baguette slices for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the goat cheese, rosemary, and black pepper.
  • Spread a layer of goat cheese mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
  • Top each slice with a spoonful of fig jam.
  • Sprinkle toasted walnuts over the fig jam.
  • Arrange the prepared slices on a serving platter and serve immediately.

Notes

To enhance the flavors, try using a high-quality fig jam and fresh goat cheese. You can also experiment with different types of nuts or herbs to personalize the appetizer to your taste. If you prefer a creamier texture, let the goat cheese come to room temperature before mixing.
