Equipment

  • 1 Grill or Grill Pan
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Tongs

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Salmon skin-on
  • 1 pound Asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the salmon fillets and asparagus on a baking sheet.
  • Brush the salmon and asparagus with the prepared olive oil mixture.
  • Place the salmon fillets, skin side down, on the grill.
  • Grill the salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through.
  • At the same time, place the asparagus on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Remove the salmon and asparagus from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle fresh dill over the salmon before serving.
  • Serve the salmon with the grilled asparagus on the side.

Notes

Ensure the grill is hot before placing the salmon and asparagus to achieve a nice sear. If using a grill pan, make sure it's preheated to avoid sticking. Adjust the seasoning to your taste preference, and feel free to add a pinch of red pepper flakes for an extra kick.
