Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 4 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  • Stir in the ground beef, cook until browned and crumbled.
  • Drain excess fat from the pot.
  • Add the diced green and red bell peppers, cooking until slightly softened.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce and flour, cooking for 1 minute.
  • Gradually pour in the beef broth, stirring continuously.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Stir in the sour cream until well combined.
  • Add the cooked rice, stirring until heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

When preparing this dish, make sure to taste and adjust the seasoning at the end, as the saltiness can vary based on the type of broth used. For a creamier texture, consider adding an extra dollop of sour cream. If you prefer a spicier soup, add a pinch of red pepper flakes while sautéing the onions and garlic.
