Equipment

  • 1 Skillet
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Tongs
  • 1 plate

Ingredients

  • 4 Pork chops
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and pour the honey garlic sauce over the pork chops.
  • Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens and the pork chops are cooked through.
  • Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure that the skillet is hot before adding the pork chops to achieve a nice sear. Adjust the seasoning to your taste and feel free to add a pinch of chili flakes to the sauce for a spicy kick. Letting the pork chops rest after cooking allows the juices to redistribute, making them more tender and flavorful.
