Equipment

  • 1 Large pot
  • 1 large skillet
  • 1 Medium bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 colander

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Pasta of choice
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, then drain using a colander.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  • Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Place salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  • Pour the honey glaze mixture over the salmon in the skillet, simmering for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta and salmon with the glaze.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure that the salmon is fresh and of high quality. Adjust the red pepper flakes according to your preferred spice level. If you prefer a thicker sauce, allow it to reduce slightly longer before adding the pasta. Pair the dish with a light salad to enhance the flavors and create a balanced meal.
