Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Basting brush
  • 1 aluminum foil

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Salmon Fillets
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple Chunks
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Cilantro chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease with olive oil.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt.
  • Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Use a basting brush to coat the salmon fillets generously with the honey pineapple mixture.
  • Scatter pineapple chunks evenly around the salmon fillets on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Let the salmon rest for 5 minutes after removing it from the oven.
  • Garnish the salmon with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

To enhance the flavors, consider marinating the salmon in the honey pineapple mixture for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Additionally, you can broil the salmon for the last 2-3 minutes to caramelize the glaze for extra flavor and texture. Serve with steamed rice or a green salad to complement the dish.
