  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets thawed
  • 8 ounce cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup jalapenos diced
  • 1/4 cup bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, bacon, and garlic powder.
  • Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry sheets.
  • Roll the pastry sheets into tight logs and seal the edges with a beaten egg mixture.
  • Slice the logs into 1-inch pinwheels using a knife.
  • Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the remaining egg wash.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow the pinwheels to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the puff pastry is properly thawed to prevent cracking while rolling. If you prefer extra heat, increase the amount of jalapenos in the filling. These pinwheels can also be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
