  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, jerk seasoning, garlic, lime juice, salt, black pepper, brown sugar, soy sauce, and honey.
  • Place salmon fillets in the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the mixture.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets on it.
  • Pour any remaining marinade over the salmon fillets.
  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Let the salmon rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure that the salmon fillets are of even thickness to promote even cooking. You can adjust the level of spice by modifying the amount of jerk seasoning to suit your taste preference. Serve the jerk salmon with a side of rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
