Equipment

  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 teaspoon
  • 1 Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the breakfast sausage, Kodiak Cakes mix, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For even cooking, make sure all sausage balls are of equal size and spaced evenly apart on the baking sheet. You can experiment with different types of cheese or add some chopped herbs for extra flavor. If the mixture feels too dry, add a little more milk, or if too wet, add more Kodiak mix until the desired consistency is reached.
