Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 pastry brush
  • 1 Sharp knife or pizza cutter
  • 1 Small bowl
  • 1 Spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 Sheets Puff Pastry thawed
  • 1 Cup Nutella
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 Tablespoon Powdered Sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out each puff pastry sheet into a 12-inch circle.
  • Place one pastry circle on the baking sheet.
  • Spread Nutella evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  • Place the second pastry circle on top.
  • Use a sharp knife to make cuts from the center to the edge, creating 16 equal strips.
  • Twist each strip twice, then press the ends to seal.
  • Brush the entire wreath with beaten egg.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow the pastry to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For best results, make sure the puff pastry is well-chilled before starting to prevent it from becoming too soft. When twisting the strips, ensure they are evenly twisted to maintain a uniform look. Adjust the amount of Nutella to taste, but be cautious not to overload as it can cause the pastry to become soggy.
