Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and marinara sauce, and bring to a simmer.
  • Add penne pasta and stir to combine.
  • Cover the pot and cook until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  • Let the pasta rest for 5 minutes to thicken.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
